Full Stack QA Engineer (w/m/d)

- You will be responsible for end-to-end testing across our entire product stack – from system installation to the web interface
- You will test the installation and configuration of our platform: Linux servers, Kubernetes (k3s), and the deployment of our services
- You will verify server configurations against defined target states (network, storage, GPU setup) and document any deviations in a clear, traceable manner
- You will test our backend services (Node.js) at the API level: REST interfaces, data flows, error handling, and edge cases – while identifying common failure patterns
- You will independently conduct functional and regression tests for our web frontends and verify the interaction between frontend and backend
- You will test complex, asynchronous, and distributed systems, keeping a close eye on timing effects and race conditions
- You will ensure structured and comprehensive test documentation
- You will work closely with our development and DevOps teams to drive test automation and its integration into our CI pipeline
- You have solid experience in testing complex software systems, from backend to frontend (system, integration, and end-to-end testing).
- You are proficient in working with Linux (shell, log analysis, and networking fundamentals).
- You have a basic understanding of containers and Kubernetes—enough to perform installations following instructions, check deployments, and systematically isolate errors; you are not required to administer the systems.
- You have experience testing backend services and APIs (REST, common error patterns) and are highly confident in handling asynchronous systems and their associated challenges (timing, race conditions).
- You have a basic understanding of Node.js-based backends.
- You have experience in frontend testing (functional, regression) and a basic understanding of Angular (specifically components and services).
- You are known for your structured, precise, and reliable test documentation.
- Ideally, you have some initial experience with test automation and CI integration (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
- Ideally, you have had some exposure to video streaming (RTSP, WebRTC) or camera systems.
- You have a very good command of German.
