We also support our clubs at the weekend. We are available by phone sporadically on Saturday and permanently on Sunday from 11:00 to 16:00. You can also contact us at any time outside these hours by email or WhatsApp and we will help you as soon as we can.
Please note that the camera must be stored in a dry and ideally cool place until it is installed or connected to the power supply. Please observe the following storage conditions: Rel. humidity: optimum 0%, maximum 40% Temperature: optimum 10°C, maximum 25°C (room temperature) We are not liable for moisture-related defects.
The installation height of the camera depends very much on factors such as space, distance etc. and we will be happy to advise you on this. However, we usually recommend around 7 meters.
The camera requires a standard 230V connection.
A product sheet with the various technical data of the camera can be found HERE.
As soon as the camera has been installed on the pitch, the system has to be aligned. For that, one of our technicians joins in by telephone. It is best if the alignment takes place directly after the installation to avoid additional work for the club. Make sure that you make an appointment with us (via +49 201 / 24 68 51 777) early enough. Our clubsupport will then create your field mask to show the camera in which areas it should recognise movement.
Finally, we need a calibration recording of the camera. For that it is necessary that there is movement on the entire pitch for 90 minutes, a game is usually the most suitable. Our technicians then use this recording to calibrate the individual lenses of the camera system to your pitch, after your camera is ready for use.
The microphone on the camera is important for transmitting the emotions from the pitch and the stands to the screen at home. Unfortunately, the microphone sometimes picks up disturbing noises (e.g. wind noise). The only way to prevent disturbing wind noise is to turn down or switch off the microphone on the camera. If this is desired, please contact our Clubsupport.
In order to guarantee a live broadcast, we require an upload of at least 8 to 12 mbit/s. Please note that the upload of the network provider can be affected by the cell phone usage of the spectators at the sports field. In the backstaige you have the possibility to keep an eye on the upload of your camera.
If your camera is displayed as offline, please make sure that the camera is connected to power and the internet. Please also check whether there is sufficient voltage at the base box and the camera. There could also be a problem with the fuse. If you are sure that the camera is connected, please perform a reset. Disconnect the power supply and reconnect it after about five minutes. If this does not help either, please contact Club Support.
To ensure a fluid stream, the stream is delayed if the camera’s internet connection is poor. For a stream with as little delay as possible, it may be worth connecting the camera to the Internet via LAN if this has not yet been done. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the LTE connection on site.
In our opinion, it is important for sports broadcasts that spectators can hear fan chants and cheers from the pitch, for example. However, if you still want to turn down or switch off the microphone, you can simply let our Clubsupport know.
If the internet connection is too poor, the camera may stop recording or uploading the game, which is why only parts of the game can be seen. In this case, please contact our Clubsupport, in many cases the remaining recordings can be completed and we can make them available to you.
The “shadow” is the part of the camera image covered by the fisheye lens. This is absolutely essential for AI and we are already using one of the best models on the market. A difference in quality and contrast is unavoidable. However, we are trying to reduce this area for the future.
The camera consumes 29 watts during streaming and 10 watts in standby mode.
The amount of data transferred during a standard recording (130 minutes long) is around 8 to 12 GB.
If your camera has recorded (red light on the camera lit up during the game) but you cannot see the games at all or only partially on staige.tv, this is often due to an insufficient internet connection of the camera during the game, which is why there are problems with the upload of the footage. In this case, please contact our Clubsupport team and we will try to re-upload the footage.
To give you an overview of the functions of our Backstaige Tool, we have created a series of instruction videos. You can find them in THIS folder.
You can add new users independently in Backstaige. To do this, select the User management tab in the Administration menu in Backstaige. E-mail addresses of users who already have an account with us can be found there, added and assigned various roles. The assigned roles can be adjusted at any time.
You can activate any number of users for the various user roles in the Backstaige. Please note that the users need an account on staige.tv before you can activate them.
There are two ways to create a recording manually. In our Backstaige, either double-click in the calendar on the desired day and time or click on the “Schedule a new recording” button at the top. Then follow the five steps and click on “Save” in the last window.
You can manage your advertising banners in the “Advertising” menu, which you can find in the bottom bar of the Backstaige to the right of the camera icon. You can create or edit all your advertising banners there. If they are set as “club-based”, they will appear for all your games. If they are “game-based”, you must activate them when creating or editing a game in the calendar.
It is not yet possible to vary the duration of the banner. If you only want to show certain ads or graphics (e.g. team line-ups) for a short time, you can do this in the tagging tool. Simply go to the bottom of the tagging tool and select the “Show insertion” button. There you can then display graphics for a length of up to 120 seconds at any position in the stream.
You can currently add up to 6 different sponsor banners. These are divided into 3 static and 3 dynamic (loop ticker) banners.
The display of advertising clips and videos before the stream is only available for our sponsors.
The highlight clips of your games are created by you. Simply go to the tagging tool and select scenes you (or the AI) have tagged and mark them with a small asterisk in the scene overview. All scenes that have such an asterisk are automatically used in the highlight clip. Any scene can be selected, including e.g. kick-off and final whistle.
You can edit the length of your recording as you wish. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to select a half-time length other than 45 minutes in the Tagging Tool.
No, the length of the individual tags cannot currently be varied and will always be 15 seconds.
Yes, you can easily delete incorrectly set tags. Simply go to the event list in the Tagging Tool and select the tags you want to delete.
You can add a paywall when you create or edit a game. Just activate the paywall option in the event section.
Staige generally charges a service fee of € 1.50 net per paid individual access (pay-per-view) for costs incurred in processing, administration and our payment service provider, provided that no other primarily agreed conditions result from your contractual relationship with Staige or our international license partners (e.g. AUT: RS Digital).
We evaluate your paywall games one to two times a year and then issue the credit to your club.
If you want to offer a game without a paywall after the live broadcast, you can easily remove the paywall in our backstaige by selecting the game and clicking on “Edit game”.
To download complete games you need our download tool which we offer for Mac and Windows.
At the moment it is not possible to download the highlight clips, but we are constantly working on improving staige.tv and will let you know when we add more features.
If the link at fussball.de is missing, this is often a problem on the fussball.de website over which we unfortunately have no influence. Nevertheless, it can happen that there was an error during the recording. So if the game is neither linked on fussball.de nor can it be seen on our staige.tv platform, please contact us in Clubsupport so that we can help you.
We import the matches for our soccer clubs from Germany once a day (usually at night) using the pitch address of the camera. If there are short-term pitch changes, these may not be taken over, which is why the match was not imported. You can just create the event manually in this case.
If the result of your game is displayed incorrectly, you can correct this yourself. To do this, you must log into the Backstaige and delete incorrectly tagged goals in the Tag Tool or mark unrecognized goals retrospectively.
To embed a game, simply click on a game on staige.tv and the share icon in the toolbar (box with an arrow pointing upwards) and then on “Embed video”. You can integrate this link in the HTML code of your website.
If you want to share or download individual scenes, you can use our social sharing tool. You can find this on a game on staige.tv by searching for the scissors icon.
Our club support team will take care of adding logos. Simply send us the logos you want to add and we will add them for you. Ideally, they should be in PNG format and have a transparent background.
You can find video instructions for Staige Coach HERE.
“You can find our “Staige Coach” analysis tool at https://staige.coach/. Make sure that your account is activated for the coaching role in your club’s backstaige. If you have not yet booked Staige Coach but would still like to try it out, you can also log in and test the demo version. If you would like to book Staige Coach, simply contact us at Clubsupport.
There seems to have been an error here. Please contact us at Clubsupport so that we can help you.
You are welcome to use our logo on your website or on your social media accounts. You can find the logos for use in THIS FOLDER.
To share a game, simply click on a game on staige.tv and the share icon in the toolbar (box with an arrow pointing upwards) and then on “Share video”. Now you can select the platform on which you want to share the game.
We recommend that information boards at the entrance to the sports facility indicate that certain matches of the sports club’s teams will be broadcasted on the internet. At the request of the clubs, we are happy to provide a sample template for a sign that can be displayed at the venue and indicates that audiovisual recordings are being made. Please get in touch with us at Clubsupport.
The data is stored on the servers of our cloud provider. The provider’s servers are located exclusively in Europe, primarily in Frankfurt and the Netherlands.
The camera only records when you create a recording in the backstaige or activate a recording created by the system. Furthermore, the red signal lamp lights up during a recording, so you can see immediately whether the camera is recording. Your camera is not a monitoring system, so it is not possible to view events outside of the recordings you have created afterwards.
It is possible to permanently blur certain areas of the shot. This can be, for example, residential buildings in the background or pedestrian paths where the people do not want to be recognized. Please get in touch with Clubsupport if we can help you.
Due to cookies, spectator numbers for individual matches cannot be reliably evaluated. We would be happy to compile the figures for a longer period (e.g. 3 months, 6 months or a season). If you are interested, simply contact us at Clubsupport.
Yes, you can embed the stream in OBS by creating a new media source and inserting the following link under “Input”: https://content.aisportswatch.com/SPIELID/720p/SPIELID.m3u8 You can find the usually six-digit game ID either in the backstaige tool or in the URL of the respective game. When using OBS, please note that no overlays from the stream (e.g. game time or point display) are transmitted
